Video: Oklahoma State HC Travis Ford gives emotional speech after upsetting Kansas

It’s safe to say that Travis Ford has had a good bit of success with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the eight seasons he has spent as head coach of the Cowboys’ basketball team. Tuesday night, he led the Cowboys to quite possibly their biggest win since taking over for the team in 2008.

The Cowboys beat the third-ranked Kansas Jayhawks 86-67 to move to 10-8 on the season. After the game, he gave a pretty emotional speech to his team in the locker room.

The Cowboys certainly helped themselves in terms of the Big 12 standings with that big win, but with as competitive as the conference is this season, they will need a few more big wins like this one if they want to make their fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament in March.
