Class of 2016 baseball and three-star football star Zach Farrar has committed to play both sports at Mississippi State, according to a tweet from Farrar himself.
Farrar, who currently stars at Southlake Carroll High School in the Dallas area, chose Mississippi State over Washington, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech and also had offers in hand from Iowa, Illinois, Fresno State and others. He played wide receiver in high school and should slide right into the role left vacant by the departing De’Runnya Wilson.
Given Farrar’s great size at 6-foot-4, 208 pounds, look for him to make an immediate impact on the gridiron in 2016.
