Georgetown basketball using blizzard as marketing opportunity

|

As we all know, the Eastern Seaboard is about to be ravaged by a major winter storm, with the DC area expected to be hit hardest. But that isn’t stopping the Georgetown Hoya’s men’s basketball program, who is using the expected snowfall as a means of offering tickets on discounts.

Check out this tweet from Georgetown and the discount rates based on how many inches the area gets!

That’s one way to put butts in seats, isn’t it? The Hoyas are 12-7 (5-2 Big East) on the year and though their fans can be rabid, giving them extra incentive to buy tickets never hurts.

That said, brace yourself as DC puts itself on snow watch!
