Players will be able to pre-load The Division Beta

We already know that The Division Beta will be a pretty large file, but it appears that Ubisoft will be helping players out in the form of a pre-load option.

According to the official French Facebook page for the game, players will be able to pre-load the beta starting 48 hours prior to its launch. The beta is expected to be over 26GB in size on all three platforms — PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One — and giving them two days to pre-load it should make sure everyone involved as the full amount of time to actually play the closed beta.

The beta starts on January 28 for Xbox One players. PC and PlayStation 4 users will get it a day later on January 29, and it will run for everyone until Sunday, January 31.

It’s a short beta period, but it should give fans enough time to decide if it’s going to be a game worth purchasing or passing on. After the letdown that was Watch Dogs in 2014 by Ubisoft, it’s safe to say that many are excited about this time to check out The Division for themselves.

The Division is slated to launch on March 8.
