The LSU Tigers didn’t start the season like everyone expected them to. However, since the beginning of SEC play, LSU has gone 4-2 in conference play, including a huge upset win over the Kentucky Wildcats.
One of the more hard-working players for the Tigers this season has been junior guard Henry Shortess. On Friday, head coach Johnny Jones announced to his team that Shortess, a walk-on, would be put on scholarship for the spring semester as well as for his senior season in an emotional scene.

Shortess has only made five appearances in games this season and has scored two points. However, Jones said that he has been one of the toughest players and has helped give the Tigers a great look in practice.
Congratulations, Henry.
