Texas A&M C Tyler Davis out vs. Mizzou with foot injury

Texas A&M freshman center sensation Tyler Davis is out for today’s game against Missouri with a foot injury, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Blessed with fine size for his position at 6-foot-10, 265 pounds, Davis is averaging 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting an excellent 68 percent from the field. In his absence, Colombian sophomore Tonny Trocha-Morelos should draw the start at the five.

The Aggies should easily handle Missouri (8-10, 1-4 SEC) easily despite Davis’ injury, but he is still an important member of a team that is running the table in the SEC this season. Hopefully, he returns sooner rather than later.
