Cal Golden Bears cornerback Cal Dozier will transfer to Kansas State, according to a statement on his official Twitter.

A former three-star recruit from the Seattle area, Dozier leaves Berkeley with 81 tackles with nine passes defended in three seasons. He now heads to a Wildcats team that went 6-7 (3-6 Big 12) last season and finished 97th in total defense.
It may seem like something of a downgrade from an aesthetic standpoint, but Dozier’s reasons for attending are his own and he should provide plenty of leadership and experience in Kansas State’s secondary.
