Syracuse commit says Orange ‘coming for Clemson & Florida State’

Syracuse commit Evan Foster, a three-star defensive back from the Detroit area, took to Twitter this morning to say that the Orange were “coming for Clemson and Florida State.”

That’s big talk for someone representing a relatively small bird, as Syracuse has not even been a force in the ACC since joining it in 2013. The Orange are 14-23 (7-17 ACC) as an ACC team and despite winning the Texas Bowl in 2013, for Foster to call out two regular national title contenders in Clemson and Florida State should provide plenty of fireworks in 2016.

Sure, the Orange have a lot to be excited about with offensive guru Dino Babers coming on as head coach, but there’s still a lot of work to be done and after this trash talk, don’t be surprised if both Clemson and FSU decide to come out on the field and teach Syracuse a lesson.
