North Carolina point guard Marcus Paige tweeted a meme that seems to be expressing confusion over the Tar Heels’ being placed at No. 2 behind Oklahoma in the latest AP Poll despite UNC getting the top spot in the Coaches’ Poll.

It’s easy to see why Paige would be confused. Oklahoma lost to Iowa State mere hours after being named No. 1 last week, while UNC knocked off Wake Forest and Virginia Tech to push its winning streak to 11 and remain undefeated in ACC play.
Granted, Oklahoma bounced back to beat a ranked opponent in Baylor while UNC’s opponents this week were unranked, but the fact remains that to see the Sooners remain atop the AP Poll is a bit puzzling, even if Paige’s meme references something else.
