Urban Meyer doesn’t think Nick Saban is the best college coach of all time.
Well, of course he doesn’t. Meyer has a resume that could argue on his behalf, too. It’s like asking Pepsi whether Coca Cola is the greatest all-time soda.
Can you imagine? Interviewer: “Pepsi: is it not true that Coke is the greatest soda of all time?” Pepsi: “Well, while Coke has a solid resume there are (leans forward, winks) OTHERS with similar ones.”
Meyer said this, when asked whether or not Sasban’s the greatest of all time:

And can you really blame his standing on this? There are names like Bear Bryant, Bobbie Bowden and yes, Urban Meyer, to consider. Meyer’s point is valid. Saban’s got to win a couple more to cap it.
