Michigan has “released” four-star freshman athlete Brian Cole from the team, according to a tweet from Steve Lorenz of 247 Sports. Lorenz also implied that Cole could be headed to either Kentucky or Pitt to continue his college career.

Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Cole appeared in one game for the Wolverines this year, as a wide receiver. He had one catch for -1 yards.
