Nebraska subtweets, trolls Michigan and Jim Harbaugh

The Nebraska Cornhuskers took to Twitter last night to troll Big Ten rival Michigan’s football program as well as coach Jim Harbaugh following a story from maizenbrew in which 2016 three-star tight end Chase Allen discussed his visit with Harbaugh.

Long story short, Harbaugh appeared intent on “debunking” everything Nebraska told Allen about how tight ends are used in coach Mike Riley’s offense.

“They wanted to debunk anything I heard on my Nebraska visit.” Allen said.

“He just talked about how tight ends are (actually) used in (Nebraska’s) offense,” he said. “He wanted to hear all about what Nebraska told me.”

Sure enough, in response, Nebraska tweeted a highlight video of tight end Cethan Carter who, despite having just 24 catches for 329 yards and two touchdowns last year, looked oh so dominant in doing so.

Allen is choosing between Nebraska, Michigan and Iowa State, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on his recruitment!
