Over the past week, former Ohio State wide receiver Braxton Miller has gained a lot of steam for the 2016 NFL Draft at the Senior Bowl practices. He has been making moves and it looks like he could possibly be a second-round draft pick for some teams.
Earlier this week, Miller spoke with ESPN about where he could possibly end up in the NFL. He said that he would love to take his talents down south to join one of the best receivers in the NFL today.
“I would love to come help out Julio in Atlanta,” Miller told ESPN.com. “I would love to wear the red and black.”
Miller made the switch from quarterback to receiver before the start of the 2015 season when it became clear that either Cardale Jones or J.T. Barrett would be starting under center for the Buckeyes. A talented player like him would certainly help out Matt Ryan in Atlanta.
Miller went on to talk about how he has been following Jones since he came out of Alabama.
“Speed, size, and the way he runs his routes is off the charts,” Miller said. “So, I want to be like that. … The way he runs his routes is crazy. I love it. I’m going to have to hit him up, man, and talk to him about that.”
Miller is by-far one of the most athletic players in the 2016 NFL Draft. If he wants to play alongside Jones in 2016, I’m sure there aren’t a lot of Falcons fans who would go against it.
