The Kentucky Wildcats certainly aren’t the same team they were last year. They aren’t one of the worst teams in the country, but after going undefeated and just missing the Final Four last year, 16-4 doesn’t look too great.
They play the fourth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks tonight and it seems like head coach John Calipari isn’t too confident about his team’s chances. When his team landed in Lawrence Friday night, Calipari was asked by a KU fan if his Wildcats were ready to lose on Saturday and his answer will surprise, and likely anger, most people.

He may have just been humoring the Jayhawk fan, who may or may not have had a few drinks. However, joking or not, I don’t expect Wildcat fans to take too kindly to this comment.
