Video: Larry Fedora goes full Ric Flair when recruit commits to UNC

North Carolina Tar Heels coach Larry Fedora is on the recruiting trail and recently spent some time with Jake Lawler, a Class of 2017 four-star defensive end who currently attends South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte.

In a video posted to Lawler’s Twitter, Lawler himself verbally commits to UNC in saying “I want to be a Tar Heel,” and Fedora’s reaction says it all.

Move over, Ric Flair, because you have been dethroned. Fedora’s reaction was more like he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, or a $1 billion Powerball jackpot.

Either way, after leading UNC to an 11-3 (8-0 ACC) record, Fedora is ensuring the Tar Heels’ future successes quite well now that Lawler has committed to the program.
