Clemson attempts to lure top recruit with ‘sweet’ gift

We’re two days away from National Signing Day and in terms of five-star defensive end Rashan Gary, Clemson took an interesting route in its last-ditch attempt to get him to commit.

Gary’s mother, Jennifer Coney, tweeted a picture of a cake that Clemson sent to the family’s home in Paramus, New Jersey. It turns out that the cake was in the form of the jersey Gary would wear if he commits to the Tigers.

With Gary holding offers from Michigan, Ole Miss, USC, Auburn, Alabama and practically ever school under the sun other than Clemson, his name is definitely one to watch in the coming days.
