On Monday, Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh released an article in The Players’ Tribune, titled “Who’s Got It Better Than Us?”
The post details the head coach’s childhood, along with his decision to return to the college ranks to lead the Wolverines.
“A lot of people outside of Michigan asked me why I decided to make that third move to Ann Arbor. It’s pretty simple: I love football. I love coaching. I love Michigan. And for me, there’s no better place for those three things than right here in Ann Arbor,” Harbaugh wrote.
After seeing the way that Harbaugh has come to life on the recruiting trail and the way that top high school players seem to appreciate and gravitate towards him, it’s easy to see why Harbaugh made the move to Michigan.
That new excitement that Harbaugh has in Ann Arbor has to be refreshing, especially at this stage in his career.
And for the Michigan football program, the energy and hype that is surrounding it could not have come at a better time which they have Harbaugh to thank for.
