Though Texas A&M used to be a Big 12 staple, that didn’t stop defensive tackle Daylon Mack from trolling it regarding its draft history.
In tweeting a picture of a chart that showed the number of draft picks per conference for the last three years, Mack took a shot at the Big 12 and its seeming lack of draft history over that stretch.
Hmmmm take a look at whose at the bottom of this chart…. Not surprising #ImJustSaying pic.twitter.com/LM2jCMJw74

Okay, so Texas A&M is in the SEC now and has bragging rights. We get it. But let’s pump the brakes just a bit.
The Big 12 only has ten teams right now and, as a result, doesn’t have a conference championship game. With the new playoff structure in place, that makes contending for a national championship difficult and that’s hard to sell to recruits.
That said, though Mack’s words may ring true, perhaps he needs a history lesson on where Texas A&M used to play.
