Apparently the Florida Panthers are in the Super Bowl, per Canadian TV

God bless our beloved neighbors up north.

American Football may not be as popular, but it gets coverage thanks to the Canadian Football League and the close proximity of multiple NFL cities. However, there are still some details that apparently need to be ironed out.

During a recent preview the Super Bowl 50 matchup between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers on a French-language newscast in Canada, the wrong logo was used.

Rather than using the NFL Panthers’ logo, the broadcast rolled with the logo of a team in a sport they are much more familiar with, the NHL’s Florida Panthers.

Whoops.

To be fair, the Florida Panthers are having a solid season and currently lead their division, but it’s safe to say they will not be in the Super Bowl anytime soon.
