After previously being committed to Minnesota, four-star wide receiver Dredrick Snelson has announced that he’s going to be playing his college football much closer to home.
The Flanagan HS receiver has decided to stay in Florida, selecting Central Florida as his college home for the next four years. UCF beat out finalists Penn State and Maryland for his services on National Signing Day

Snelson was the 20th-ranked receiver in the nation according to ESPN, and had offers from schools like Miami, Alabama and Florida State. His decision to join the Knights has to be about his role more than anything else.
