There’s no questioning that New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the most outspoken players in the NFL today. But he didn’t always used to be that way.
Five years ago today, Beckham signed with the LSU Tigers as a four-star wide receiver recruit. When he signed with the Tigers, he gave a pretty modest speech about his future with the Tigers.
Knowing that he has turned into one of the best receivers in the league, it has been a huge transformation for the kid out of Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“It’s definitely a whole new level,” Beckham said of playing for LSU. “But I’m going to work hard and make sure I’m ready.”
Yeah, we all know how that has turned out for him.
