Manu Ginobili out a month due to surgery for testicular injury

San Antonio Spurs veteran guard Manu Ginobili is expected to miss a month following surgery to repair a testicular injury suffered last night against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Mike Monroe of The Rivard Report.

Ginobili, 38, is averaging 10 points in just under 20 minutes per game and is shooting 38 percent from long range. In his absence, rookie Jonathon Simmons could see extended playing time.

Regarding Ginobili’s injury, this can just be added to the long laundry list of injuries he has suffered since making his NBA debut in 2002.
