Four-star defensive end Auston Robertson, out of Wayne High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, announced on Twitter that he is “re-opening his options” despite being committed to Michigan State for a while.
Michigan state is still my number one but I'm am re-opening my options.

It should also be noted that Robertson is facing misdemeanor battery charges after, according to The Journal Gazette, inappropriately touching a female classmate. Robertson has a status hearing next week, so perhaps he is just waiting to commit to a program until the situation is just a bit clearer.
Either way, Spartans coach Mark Dantonio has already said that he is open to adding one more player in the Class of 2016, and also has a reputation for giving players with legal issues a second chance. Perhaps Robertson could be that man?
