After six years of turmoil, Pat Haden is retiring as Athletic Director from USC.
According to Bleacher Report’s Bryan Fischer, Haden will be retiring as AD effective June 30, 2016. The news shortly follows Haden’s announcement that he was stepping down from the College Football Playoff Committee.

There has been no timetable as to when a replacement will be hired, but it’s likely safe to assume USC already has a shortlist of candidates in mind. The big hope for fans of the program is that the next AD will be able to turn around a former powerhouse, and bring the Trojans back to their glory days on the gridiron.
