College rivalries run deep, so it should come as no surprise that former Duke Blue Devils point guard Jay Williams was not wearing any North Carolina gear when he picked the Tar Heels to defeat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on ESPN’s College GameDay Saturday morning.
Rather than rocking any UNC gear, Williams went with another familiar North Carolina sports team to announce his pick in South Bend.
When Williams ripped off his jacket and shirt, he revealed a Cam Newton jersey.
The message was delivered loud and clear, and the Tar Heels seemed to appreciate it, too.
