Nebraska’s Shavon Shields released from hospital

According to Nebraska athletics officials, Nebraska basketball player Shavon Shields is in good condition after falling awkwardly on his head in Saturday’s win over Rutgers.

However there was some good news as Nebraska shared that Shields was conscious on his way to the hospital and suffered no injuries to his spine. He was released later Saturday evening.

Thankfully, Shields and the Cornhuskers were able to avoid the worst in a scary situation.
