After another wild week in college basketball, the nation has a new No. 1 team. Much like the Coaches Poll, the AP Top 25 has been released with the Villanova Wildcats earning the top spot for the first time in school history.
Villanova earned 32 first-place votes, with Maryland earning 13 first-place votes and the No. 2 ranking.
Oklahoma, Iowa and Xavier round out the top five.
Indiana and South Carolina fell out of the poll, while USC and Texas jumped into the rankings.
