The NFL Draft Combine is just around the corner and it is time to start wondering if any of the players attending will make a push for a big-time record. Eight years ago, Chris Johnson entered the combine as a running back looking to make an impact in the NFL.
He showed off his skills when he ran a 4.28 in the 40-yard dash. Few have come close to the record, but none have succeeded and adidas is offering $1 million dollar to anyone who can this year.
The company announced the contest Monday night and it seems like a pretty cool idea. You can check out the official rules, which state the athlete must wear adidas gear during his 40-yard dash attempt to be eligible, here.
Is anyone going to be able to break Johnson’s record? We will just have to wait and see.
