Rams owner stan Kroenke buys $725 million ranch that will blow your mind

Stan Kroenke, the billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Rams, recently purchased a $725 million dollar ranch just outside of Vernon, Texas. The 535,000-acre Waggoner ranch has been on the market since 2014 and is widely considered one of the most iconic ranches in all of Texas.

It’s home to 14,000 cows and over 26,000 acres of farmland. It also happens to be the largest ranch in the United States within one fence. It’s not known what the exact terms of the sale with Kroenke are, but the $725 million dollar price tag is the largest asking-price for a ranch in US history.

Kroenke has been under fire from football fans in the wake of the move of the Rams from St. Louis to Los Angeles. 500,000+ acres of land, 660 miles away from angry St. Louis fans might just be the perfect hideout for Kroenke until the excitement of the move dies down, if it ever will in Missouri.

In addition to the L.A. Rams, Kroenke is the partial owner of other teams such as the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, NFL’s Colorado Avalanche, MLS’ Colorado Rapids and Arsenal F.C. in London.
