Kentucky celebrates all former players at NBA All-Star Weekend

To say that Kentucky has produced a number of really good NBA players would be a massive understatement.

The college basketball powerhouse has continuously pumped out All-Star after All-Star, and that’s no different from this year. The program sent out a congratulatory tweet to all of its former players that are taking part in this weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities.

We already knew these guys were stars, and now the whole world will take notice too. https://t.co/YRPXMVXB7K pic.twitter.com/md9pXUV9jn

Just by looking at the picture, you can count seven former Wildcats in Toronto this weekend. Former number one overall picks like Anthony Davis and John Wall as well as middle first-round picks Trey Lyles and Devin Booker will take part in the various events.

Needless to say, I think head coach John Calipari will mention this fact a few times to new recruits while he’s meeting with them.
