Video: NXT superstar knocked out in match, ref knows immediately

Just because professional wrestling is pre-determined doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous. One rookie NXT superstar found that out Thursday night when the WWE brand held a live event in Jacksonville.

The rookie’s name is Riddick Moss and he was involved in a pretty big time six-man tag match as he teamed with NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson as they took on the team of Enzo Amore, Colin Cassidy, and Sami Zayn. His big moment was cut short when he suffered a pretty scary incident.

Amore, Cassidy, and Zayn set up their opponents for a triple suplex and nailed it, which was pretty awesome. However, the referee went to check on the three superstars and he immediately noticed that Moss was knocked out.

Despite the fans thinking the move was pretty awesome, Moss was still very much unconscious. The referee stopped the match and it ended in a no contest, however, Moss seemed to be, luckily, okay.

What a way to make your debut.
