Actor and rap megastar Drake is one of the most famous people to come out of Canada in the last decade. He loves to show pride in his hometown by constantly visiting his hometown and representing the professional teams, Blue Jays and Raptors, from the city.
The NBA has been in town for its All-Star Weekend and Drake and has been involved with just about everything they have had going on. On Friday, he was in attendance at the Celebrity Game and was given a pretty high honor by being given the key to the city of Toronto.
Toronto Mayor John Tory spoke with Complex about the presentation and said that Drake is “the most famous Torontonian in the world.” He also commended Drake for living in and caring for the community of Toronto.
This is truly a great honor and Drake deserves it.
