The LSU Tigers beat up on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Texas Bowl on December 29. The game was pretty much in hand for the Tigers from the get-go, especially with the performance of running back Leonard Fournette.
He rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns and took a screen pass for 44 yards and another score. The Tigers won 56-27 and apparently, country singer Josh Abbott had to pay up on a bet.
He did so by wearing a number seven jersey throughout the entirety of his show at the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge on Saturday night. This was much to the delight of the crowd, as you can see in a picture shared by ESPN’s Peter Burns.
When you're a Texas Tech fan & you lose a bet to a LSU fan you have to play your concert in a @_fournette jersey. pic.twitter.com/SEReWP9g61

Abbott seemed to be a good sport about the whole thing as he owned up to the bet on Twitter after the show.
A bet's a bet! All in good fun! We'll win next time #wreckem https://t.co/v2l7Js0CKs

I guess if you are going to wear an LSU jersey because you lost a bet, number seven is the way to go. It has been donned by many of the greats to ever play for the Tigers.
