Kirby Smart did a fine job putting together his first recruiting class at Georgia, but that hasn’t led him to slack off on next year. Quite the contrary, Smart today got an early commitment from a 2017 recruit.
Offensive Tackle Justin Shaffer out of Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia seemed to be thoroughly persuaded by coach Smart as the 330-pounder changed his commitment from Louisville to Georgia.
