Photo: Kansas unveils Black History Month alternate uniforms

Kansas has unveiled the alternate uniforms it will wear against Baylor and Texas Tech next week to celebrate Black History Month, with pictures of the uniforms being posted to the basketball programs official Twitter.

These are the uniforms that Kansas wore in the 1950s, a decade in which the Jayhawks made three national championship games and won one while stars like Wilt Chamberlain and Clyde Lovellette made Lawrence a basketball hotspot.

The uniforms are simple, but have that classic panache that makes many throwbacks great. They may only be worn for two games, but the Kansas players are sure going to look sharp in them.

What do you think of the uniforms, fans? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
