Ralph Wilson Foundation makes another big donation to the Hall of Fame

Former Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson’s foundation has made huge contributions to the NFL and it’s Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. It is one big reason why they have been able to update the facility so much and will be able to continue to do so.

The Ralph Wilson Foundation has served as a grant-making organization which is dedicated to help improving the quality of life of the people in Buffalo and in Michigan, where Wilson is from. They made a contribution to the Hall of Fame in 2012, allowing them to build the research library, which is now named after Wilson.

According to CantonRep.com, the foundation made another $2.5 million contribution to the Hall of Fame. This will go towards building a holographic theater this summer.

“This generous additional gift from the foundation is further evidence of the special appreciation Ralph had for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and its mission,” Hall of Fame president David Baker said.

Baker also talked about how the Hall hopes to host the NFL Draft in 2019 or 2020 after the NFL’s deal with Chicago is up. This will come from the Hall beginning an expansion and renovation project that will eventually include the Hall of Fame Village retail and entertainment center on the Hall’s grounds.
