Ex-Texas coach Mack Brown will lead UTRGV football feasibility study

Mack Brown may no longer be the head coach of the Texas Longhorns, but he is not yet done making a difference in the football world. Recently, it was announced that Brown would lead the football feasible study committee at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

The school announced the news in a press release on Friday.

“I am thrilled and honored to have been selected to lead this committee,” Brown said.

“The opportunity to build a college football program from the ground up is unique, and I’m excited to be involved in the process. I know there are many passionate football fans in the Rio Grande Valley, and I can’t think of a better place to launch a college football program.”

He added:

With Brown’s excitement, it will be interesting to see how impactful the study turns out to be.

And who knows, maybe one day Mack Brown could return to coaching as the leading man at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Cue the spooky music.
