NFL scouts complaining they aren’t seeing enough of Connor Cook

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that he’s “already heard scouts complain about not being able to see [Michigan State QB] Connor Cook in a practice setting.”

Michigan State’s practices are notorious for not being exactly media friendly, which can make it hard for scouts to ascertain their doubts or thoughts on Cook. Rumors have circulated that Cook isn’t exactly the best teammate, and by not getting a good look in practice, those rumors will be hard to confirm.

What’s more, Cook skipped participating in the Senior Bowl, allowing an even smaller window into his makeup on and off the gridiron.

At 6-foot-4, 218 pounds Cook has shown enough to prove he is worth a shot in the league. But as it stands, it’s up in the air as to how high in the draft he will go.
