Earlier this year we found out via Kristaps Porzingis that Knicks star Carmelo Anthony sometimes refers to himself as “Me7o,” so we know Anthony is unique. And he certainly gave a unique take on Kanye West’s new album The Life of Pablo. One could even call it Kanye-esque.
After the Knicks’ 103–95 win over the Timberwolves, Melo had ‘Ultralight Beam’ playing at his locker as reporters came in for their postgame interviews. To accomodate Me7o gave a succinct review of the music.
“I like it. It’s different,” Anthony said, according to The Wall Street Journal’s Chris Herring. “It’s apartment music.”

What exactly apartment music is remains a mystery. But I am definitely curious to find out.
