Video: Awesome feature on Nick Chubb’s hometown

When it comes to Georgia running back Nick Chubb, not many know about his past or what it entails. The running back hails from Cedartown High School in Floyd County, Georgia.

However, he didn’t live in Cedartown, but rather in a small self-sustained city called Chubb Town. His family moved there from near the Virginia border during the Civil War.

They settled in a three-acre patch of land where they begin life anew and were so successful that people from around the country came to trade with them. ESPN did an “SC Featured” on the town, getting Chubb’s thoughts on his past life.

That was pretty amazing and certainly gives a different perspective of where Chubb came from. He is currently on his road to recovery from a nasty knee injury during the 2015 season.

Let’s hope he is able to get his season going for 2016 and he is able get after his NFL dream.
