Texas A&M defeated Kentucky 79-77 in College Station tonight and though it was a basketball game, some Super Bowl magic may have been the reason why. Thanks to a tweet from ESPN, it was learned that former Aggie and reigning Super Bowl MVP Von Miller was in attendance.
Miller is a proud member of the Texas A&M family, having posted 33 sacks in four seasons with the Aggies before being drafted second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. His 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles were instrumental in Denver winning Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers earlier this month.
He may not have stepped on the court once tonight, but it’s great to see that Miller still remains involved with his alma mater despite being an NFL star right now!
