There’s no questioning that the Cleveland Browns are bad. They are a terrible team and don’t seem to be going in any kind of direction that is going to benefit them.
One bright spot the Browns can stake a claim to is their offensive line, led by veteran center Alex Mack. However, it seems that he could be on his way out of Cleveland as it was reported that he is expected to opt out of his current contract.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news on Twitter. He also reported that Mack could likely re-sign with the team in completely new contract.
#Browns C Alex Mack is expected to opt-out of his contract, sources said. But a return to Cleveland on a new contract is a real possibility

Mack has spent his entire career with the Browns since being drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. If the Browns aren’t able to get Mack to a new contract, he would likely be the hottest free agent center on the market this offseason.
