One thing that many teams like to base a prospect’s talents off of at the NFL Scouting Combine is their 40-yard dash time. It is pretty important to perform well in that event at the Combine.
It looks like one top-ranked prospect won’t be running at the Combine this weekend. According to Scott Bischoff of Football Guys, former Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell will not run the 40 in Indianapolis.
Also, confirmed to me this morning by a source that Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell will not run at the Combine.

This could be interesting to see what scouts say about Treadwell not running if he is in fact not going to do so this weekend. Many believe that the 40 time is the most important thing coming out of the Combine, especially for skills position players.
What do you think, fans? Could this end up hurting Treadwell and his stock or is he still going to be the top wide receiver in the Draft in April?
