The Kansas City Chiefs have a special player in safety Eric Berry. He has one heck of a comeback year in 2015 and he even won the 2015 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award after battling back from Leukemia.
It looks like the Chiefs could be moving on from Berry in their talks for a new contract. According to NFL.com’s Rand Getlin, the two have not made any kind of big moves in their contract talks, despite Berry being expected to get a large extension.
While the #Chiefs and all-pro safety Eric Berry are expected to work on an extension, no significant progress has been made at this point.

Berry was responsible for two interceptions and ten pass deflections. He was a big reason why the Chiefs went on a ten-game win streak to get into the playoffs after a 1-5 start.
He also added on 55 tackles and is looking to keep his career going. If the Chiefs don’t sign him to an extension, I am sure another team would love to have a player like Berry on their defense.
