Villanova’s strong stretch continued this week as it was named No. 1 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll once again, with Kansas, Virginia, Oklahoma and Xavier rounding out the Top 5. Given how Villanova visits Xavier on Wednesday, this sets up a potential rankings shakeup for the ages next week.
Texas A&M also returned to the poll following its buzzer-beating overtime win over Kentucky last weekend.
