We all know the NFL Draft as the day when the best college players in the nation take the first official step of their NFL careers. However, though the players taken on Day 1 and Day 2 are beyond deserving of the attention they get, what about their lesser counterparts?
Keep in mind that not every NFL star is a first-round pick. Tom Brady wasn’t drafted until the sixth-round, and fellow quarterback Kurt Warner went undrafted.
In fact, the undrafted players make more of an impact than one would imagine. Looking throughout NFL Draft history, it’s kind of surprising how many excellent players have had strong NFL careers and weren’t even among those who heard their names called during the course of draft weekend.
That said, let’s take a look at each of the last 15 NFL Drafts and find and rank the best undrafted players from each class.
