Tim Tebow hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2012, but that hasn’t stopped Americans from loving him. In a poll recently conducted by Public Policy Polling, in which Americans were asked to name their favorite NFL quarterback, Tebow finished in fifth place, with seven percent of those who took the poll naming him.
To give a better idea, Tebow finished ahead of players like Russell Wilson, Eli Manning and Drew Brees, all of whom also have a great deal of charisma and have done enough in recent years to show why they may be someone’s favorite quarterback or NFL player.
Be that as it may, this is truly a testament to how much of an effect Tebow has had on the masses. Sure, he wasn’t a great quarterback during his short NFL tenure, but his personality captured enough people’s hearts that he’s still beloved amongst a select few.
Or, perhaps, that seven percent is made up of people who don’t watch football anymore and didn’t get the memo about him being out of the league!
