The Charlotte Hornets unveiled plans for a new scoreboard on Wednesday. This isn’t your average scoreboard, however. This is something that was immediately met with praise and excitement around the social media world.
The new, one-of-a-kind scoreboard at Time Warner Cable Arena will be the largest scoreboard in the NBA. It comes complete with a honeycomb and hornet wing design that will be unique to the franchise.

Charlotte also announced a number of other upgrades for the venue.
Construction for the new board will begin in July and is scheduled to be completed in time for the start of the Hornets 2016-17 NBA season.
