On Tuesday, UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos announced that he would have to pull out of the UFC 196 main event against Conor McGregor due to a broken foot.
It was announced later in the day that Nate Diaz would replace him to face off against McGregor in a welterweight bout.
This didn’t change much of the betting lines for McGregor. He is still a heavy favorite to win the match over Diaz as the odds were released early Wednesday morning.
Looks as though @FightOdds opened Conor McGregor as a -280 favorite v. Nate Diaz (+220). #UFC196

This should be a great fight between two very different fighters. Despite it not being be a title bout as originally scheduled, this should still be a very entertaining matchup.
The two will hit the Octagon on March 5 in Las Vegas, with the UFC women’s bantamweight title bout between champion Holly Holm and Miesha Tate being the co-main event.
