Sad news to pass along on this Thursday as Scott Miller, the voice of the North Dakota State Bison on KFGO radio in Fargo, has passed away at the age of 57. Miller was diagnosed with Melanoma back in 2012, and fought valiantly against the terrible disease.
Unfortunately, the cancer was aggressive, and spread throughout his body. He died on Wednesday night at a hospital in Fargo.
Miller won the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscaster of the Year Award twice, and was well-renowned for his work covering the Bison as well as the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball team.
It’s a sad day for Bison fans, and just sports fans in general. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Miller during this extremely difficult time.
